M. Kathryn Brown, MD, FAAP
Dr. Kathryn Brown’s work as a pediatrician brings her tremendous satisfaction. “I love working with kids because they are so fun and resilient. Being a parent has helped me understand what parents go through and enables me to be more empathetic,” she says.Dr. Brown views herself as an advisor and team member with parents, working with them to ensure the best health outcomes for their kids. “Parents always know their child best. I try to listen well to what they say, because that allows me to make the best medical plan for the family. I especially enjoy caring for teenage females and have a lot of experience in handling their health care needs, including gynecology.”
Dr. Brown completed medical school at University of Virginia and her residency at University of California, Davis and is board certified in pediatrics. With nearly ten years of practice under her belt, she joined Oregon Pediatrics in 2005. Dr. Brown and her husband have one son. She enjoys running, hiking, and cross-country skiing.
