Kristen R. Ell, MD, FAAP

Dr. Kristen Ell always loved the sciences, choosing to pursue a career in medicine after finishing college. Besides being a curious, caring, and competent pediatrician, Dr. Ell is a wife and mom to three children: Joseph, Clara, and Sophia.

“As a pediatrician, my job is to help the parent be a good parent and support them in raising their child. I encourage questions,” she says. “When kids are sick, I involve families by giving them information about the illness and treatment options. I encourage my families to read about their children’s health and development and address any questions or concerns with me. I really enjoy watching the kids grow up!”

Dr. Ell grew up in Eugene, OR, and attended medical school at Oregon Health Science University. She completed her residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, joining Oregon Pediatrics in 2001. She is board certified in pediatrics.
