Although he was born in Rochester, NY and a year later moved to Costa Rica, Dr. Pilato has spent most of his life in and around the southeast Florida area, including Miami. It was in the sunshine state that he began his journey as pediatrician and family man. “Being married to a loving wife and having two beautiful daughters has brought me great happiness, and has helped me understand what it truly means to care for children.”
He enjoys taking care of children of all ages, from newborn to young adults. “I believe as a pediatrician, the best way to care for my patients, is to educate the family and give them the information they need to make sound decisions for their children”. “It is my privilege to help care for the health and well being of my patients, and watch them grow and mature.”
Dr. Pilato attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine in Davie FL and completed his pediatric residency at Palms West Hospital in West Palm Beach FL in June 2011. He became board certified in Pediatrics in August 2011.
After accepting an offer to join Oregon Pediatrics starting in January 2012, he and his family moved to Oregon in time for the 2011 holiday season. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing and watching sports, and relaxing to a good movie.
I believe as a pediatrician, the best way to care for my patients, is to educate the family…” ~ Dr. Brian Pilato
