After several years of working with children with special needs, Deborah’s dedication to children naturally led her to Pediatrics. “I feel fortunate to do what I love – work with families to provide optimal care for children.”
Deborah holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Columbia University. At Columbia, she also earned a Masters Degree in Nursing and specialized in Pediatrics. Deborah is nationally certified as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner as well as an Asthma Educator. She has been published in the Journal of Pediatric Health Care and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. Before joining Oregon Pediatrics, Deborah provided medical care to pregnant teenagers, adolescent mothers and their children in New York City’s foster care system.
Deborah is excited to call Oregon her home. On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, cooking and watching documentary films.
I am motivated and eager to help parents raise happy and healthy children, from birth through adolescence. My goal is to provide thorough medical care and education that addresses the physical, behavioral, and developmental needs of each and every child.
