Heather grew up in Connecticut and New York, then studied nursing at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. After graduating she served as a Navy Nurse, working most of her five year Navy career on the pediatric floor of hospitals in Florida and California. Here she gained unique and varied experience with kids and developed a strong sense that pediatrics was where she belonged.
Upon leaving the Navy, Heather married and moved to Oregon where she pursued and earned a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from OHSU in 1996. She worked as a PNP at a pediatric clinic in Lake Oswego for 14 years before joining Oregon Pediatrics in 2011.
Heather and her husband, Ron, live in NE Portland and have two children, Chet and Ruby. She enjoys tennis, running, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends.
Working in pediatrics is extremely rewarding. I can’t imagine doing anything else. It is a true joy to get to know families and work together, helping children lead healthy lives.”
