Olivia Gordon has a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University. A Portland native with a passion for working with children, she spent 10 years as a Montessori teacher before getting involved in child and family therapy.
She is passionate about providing a variety of counseling services to children/adolescents and their families, including diagnosing and treating mental disorders, developing treatment plans, helping patients improve communication and interpersonal skills, and more. She also incorporates expressive therapies like play and art therapy into her sessions.
Olivia firmly believes that experiences profoundly influence the development of children. These experiences influence emotional, social, cognitive, and physiological development. No one, no matter how young, should be defined by circumstance. Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go, only from where you start. “
