For over two decades Dr. Shah has had the privilege of getting to know many wonderful families in the community. Clackamas Pediatric Clinic & Oregon Pediatrics was founded because she believes that every child is special and deserves every opportunity to grow up healthy and happy. She recognizes that no one knows a child as well as the parents. In her practice she counts on parents taking an active roll in all treatment plans, considering herself to be a partner with the parents in their child’s care.Dr. Shah received her medical education in India. After completing her pediatric residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University, in 1985 she began her solo practice in Milwaukie, Oregon. Ten years later she moved the practice to its present location in Clackamas. The larger facility allowed her to invite several dedicated and experienced pediatricians to join her. Today the group has 10 practitioners, including nine pediatricians and one pediatric physician assistant seeing patients in three locations in the Portland Metro area. “For me, the opportunity to care for so many second generation families is one of the greatest rewards of being in practice for so many years.” She is board certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Shah and her husband have two sons, a daughter and one grandson. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as traveling and experiencing new destinations.
