Sarah graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Physiology and Spanish. After attending the University of Oregon, she worked as a medical scribe in both the emergency department and a local pediatric clinic in her hometown of Eugene, OR. She graduated from Vanderbilt University’s Master of Science in Nursing program in Nashville, TN. Before joining Oregon Pediatrics, she worked as a nurse caring for medically fragile children in their homes. Sarah has always felt that she was meant to work with children. She feels very fortunate and excited to begin her career in the pediatric primary care setting. Recently married, Sarah and her husband like to travel internationally as well as locally, exploring all the beauty of their home state of Oregon. In her free time, she likes spending time with family and hiking with her dog. She also likes cooking, cross stitching, kayaking, playing piano, and running.
“I love working in Pediatrics. My favorite part is to be able to work with children and their families, and have the opportunity to watch them grow and develop into their own unique selves.”
