About Erin
Erin was born and raised in California and moved to Oregon more than 25 years ago to pursue her doctorate in neuroscience at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). After working in basic science research, she shifted her career to nursing in 2008. She spent a decade at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital caring for chronically ill infants and children before transitioning to primary care as a pediatric nurse practitioner.
Erin’s favorite part of primary care is helping families sort through the noise and misinformation to make safe, evidence-based medical decisions for their children. She especially enjoys working with LGBTQIA+ youth and has a particular soft spot for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.
Outside of work, Erin is a proud pet parent to four adorable and mischievous rescue cats. She is an animal-loving vegan and volunteers her time vaccinating kittens in her spare time.
