About Dr. Long
Dr. Heather Long first learned about being a doctor from her own pediatrician who was also her cousin. She says, “I remember that no matter how sick I felt at the time, it was a tremendous relief when he walked in the room. I knew then that I wanted to grow up to learn how to offer that kind of skill and guidance to other families.”

My favorite childhood memory is playing house with my sister in our grandparents’ RV.
About my family
I live with my husband, two kids, and a bunch of fun pets: Opie the parrot, Ozzy the snake, Spot the bearded dragon, Lucy the chinchilla, Jumpy and Jumper the dwarf frogs, and Skippy the tadpole.
In my spare time…
I love to play games with my kids and help coach their teams. I also love to read novels and run for fun through all the seasons.
