I embrace a collaborative and evidence based model to help my patients and their families get from where they are (behaviorally, socially, emotionally) to where they want to be. I try not to tell them what to do, but rather guide them to come up with  solutions that will work for them. I will gently push but not shove. My focus is on helping youth learn coping and communication skills that they can use now and into their future for whatever difficulties arise.

About Ketki

Ketki immigrated to the United States at age 7. She earned her doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and joined Clackamas and Oregon and Pediatrics in 2009.

She is a strong believer in collaboration between patients, families, medical providers and teachers as information from all sources is essential in understanding and meeting the needs of patients. In addition to providing individual, evidence based therapy using an integrated approach (including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as well as specific learning disability evaluations, Ketki has provided  supervision to pre and post graduate level therapists. She loves getting to know her patients and their families so she can help ensure they continue building on patient strengths and individuality while helping them learn and practice the skills so they can achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

When she is not working, Ketki loves to read, run, and travel with her husband and children.
